Websocket security questions

Hello everyone,

to use Quicksight, we must allow the use of websockets. Are there more information about what information is distributed via websockets? It’s crucial to know if any executables could be sent via websockets.

Furthermore, the following questions are open, for which I unfortunately can’t find any documentation:

  • File exchange technically prevented and prevention confirmed ?
  • File exchange technically possible, additional protection measures/restrictions on server side available - please explain and document
  • File exchange possible, no technical protection measures/restrictions implemented

Has anyone had similar questions in the context of IT security?

@julian.schmidl Websockets are only used for visual related query calls in QuickSight. No executables are sent. Also I am not sure the context of the questions is clear.
