I have an analysis which displays 2 horizontal bar charts. I want my users to be able to sort the chart on the Y axis, by clicking the sort icon at the bottom of the y-axis label. However, depending on the height of the chart in the layout, when it is smaller than about half the screen, the y-axis label becomes hidden, and users cannot click its sort button.
Is there an option to always display the y-axis label, independently of the visual height?
Hello @Loupi, welcome to the QuickSight community!
Unfortunately, this is a limitation with the visuals in QuickSight. Once the visual is reduced to a certain size, that sort option will no longer display. The only way to ensure it always appears is to increase the size of the visual to ensure the option is maintained for the reader.
At AWS, our roadmap is primarily driven by our customers. Your feedback helps us build a
better service. Since this option is currently not available in QuickSight, I have tagged this as a feature request. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions, otherwise I will archive this topic for our Support Team. Thank you!
