Year ON Year Sales

I am doing the year on year comparison but the problem is that I need to put the date on x axis and when I am using the date as field I am getting year with it and doing so I only see data for a particular year but if I am extracting months from the year I am able to see but what If want to put aggregation on weeks or to fiscal year comparison

Yes Eric. Basically, I need Two lines 1 over the other, showing 2 different years and legends will show the Year.
