I need to use the Count Distinct aggregation for the data as otherwise the dataset is double and triple counting some values. It’s an issue with the data I can’t figure out. I have tried aggregating the value with Count Distinct in SQL and this isn’t displaying the correct distinct number of the value:
in the example below this is a period-over-period insight, I’m looking for a period-to-date insight. For example, I want to compare the total distinct count of ‘#NCRs’ for the year to date period, with the total count for the last year to date:
Period to date:
‘Year-to-date total distinct count of #NCRs for Oct 8, 2023 decreased by 10.87% (-157) from 1,444 to 1,287 (2023 YTD).’
