Action Connector Dropdown Empty in Quick Flows - Cannot Configure Slack/Outlook Notifications

Background: I’m creating a Quick Flow to monitor daily data and need to automatically send notifications to supervisors when anomalies are detected.

Issue Encountered: When adding an Action step in the Flow editor, I need to select a Connector and Action type, but both dropdown menus are completely empty with no options available.

What I’ve Tried:

  • Attempted to configure Slack message sending - dropdown is empty

  • Tried switching to Outlook email sending - same issue, dropdown is empty

My Questions:

  1. Does this mean my organization hasn’t enabled any action connectors yet?

  2. If this is an administrator configuration issue, how can I identify who the Quick administrator is in my organization?

  3. Are there alternative ways to implement notification functionality in Flows without relying on action connectors?

  4. Can regular users enable action connectors themselves, or must this be done by an administrator?

  5. Or is there any other way that we can trigger alert message to slack from flow?

Hi @evazeng ,

Can you please check if you are able to view the slack Action connector under Integrations > Actions.

If not, either there are no Actions created or they are not shared with you. I would suggest you find this information first. Also can you tell me what is your user profile(Professional(ReaderPro) or Enterprise(AuthorPro).

If you need to create actions on your own, you need to be an Enterprise user.

To find out your administrator, you’ll need to contact your organization’s IT department or help desk to find out who your Quick administrator is.

Hi, Vaidy,
Thanks for your suggestion, I have checked the Integrations > Actions, and yes, no actions are there. And my profile is Professional, is that means I can’t make it , right?

Hi @evazeng,

Just wanted to check in since this thread hasn’t received a response in a while. Do you have any other questions regarding the Slack action connector? Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.

Thank you!

Hi @evazeng,
