Add functionality for Table calculations for Custom Aggregation fields

Hi,

Currently QuickSight supports adding “Table calculations” for pre-existing fields fed into the dataset. That option disappears if you try to do the same with “custom calculated fields”. Refer two screenshots below.

Our Org is trying to switch to QuickSight for all DBR/WBR reporting , it is extremely difficult to create DBR/WBR’s in QuickSight because the functionality is currently not supported. Currently the workaround adds too much extra time of efforts and we tend of have dashboards that have anywhere between 30 to 100 KPI’s per slide. Having the ability to add table calculation for custom field will give us a huge time saving boost.

Is this feature currently tracked on the roadmap?

I will mark this as a feature request for the Quicksight team as well!

Unfortunately, it is a policy that feature update plans and roadmaps can not be shared. That being said I highly recommend checking out the What’s New/Blog and adding notifications to stay up to date on new features.
