Amazon Quick Sight now supports programmatic export and import of assets permissions and tags as an update to previously launched export and import APIs. This enables you to backup and restore, continuously replicate and migrate Quick Sight assets along with their permissions and tags. Previously with the earlier version of these APIs you had to populate permissions and tags separately. To learn more, click here.
The Quick Sight export and import of asset permissions and tags is only available with the Amazon Quick Sight Enterprise Edition. This is available in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia and Ohio), US West (Oregon), Canada (Central), South America (São Paulo), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland and London), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), and AWS GovCloud (US-West).
