Hi @vibhu22oct

  1. QuickSight is designed to handle terabyte scale data workloads.

  2. QuickSight can support near real-time reporting with data freshness of 5-10 minutes.

  3. QuickSight does not offer a perpetual free edition. However, a 30-day free trial is available with up to 4 Author users, allowing you to evaluate the platform’s capabilities.

  4. QuickSight is a fully managed, serverless SaaS service. It does not require installation and cannot be deployed as a PaaS solution within your own infrastructure. However, QuickSight provides robust VPC connectivity options to ensure secure access to your private data sources.

  5. QuickSight fully supports Paginated Reports (also known as Pixel-Perfect Reports), which are ideal for generating print-ready, multi-page documents such as bank statements, invoices, contracts, and regulatory filings.

  6. QuickSight includes a comprehensive suite of AI and machine learning capabilities through Amazon Q in QuickSight, powered by large language models from Amazon Bedrock.

  7. QuickSight offers partial built-in multilingual support. Build a multilingual dashboard with Amazon Athena and Amazon QuickSight | AWS Big Data Blog

  8. Currently, there is no native one-click migration tool from Looker to QuickSight. However, AWS partners offer proven migration accelerators and approaches to facilitate this transition.
