1. How much data volume can AWS QuickSight handle ? can it handle terabytes of data ?
2. Can QuickSight perform near real time reporting , example reports should display updated data within 5-10 minutes? how to achieve this in QuickSight
3. How many users are supported by free edition of Apache QuickSight? how many maximum number of users can view report at same time?
4. Can QuickSight be installed on AWS Cloud network as PaaS solution?
5. Does QuickSight provides capability to create Paginated Reports which is easy to Print with multiple pages like Bank statements or contracts etc
6. what are the AI features available in QuickSight?
7. Can I create multilingual reports or reports which chart or title labels in other languages apart from English in QuickSight, how to achieve this?

1. QuickSight is designed to handle terabyte scale data workloads.

   • SPICE (Super-fast, Parallel, In-memory Calculation Engine): Supports up to 2 TB per dataset and 2 billion rows in the Enterprise Edition.
   • Standard Edition: Supports up to 25 GB / 25 million rows per dataset.
   • Direct Query Mode: When using Direct Query, there is no SPICE storage limitation queries run directly against your underlying data source (Amazon Redshift, Athena, S3, etc.), supporting virtually unlimited data volumes.

2. QuickSight can support near real-time reporting with data freshness of 5-10 minutes.

   • Direct Query Mode: Real-time (queries the source on each load/refresh).
   • SPICE Scheduled Refresh: As frequent as every 15 minutes (Enterprise Edition).
   • SPICE On-Demand Refresh: Up to 32 refreshes per 24-hour period per dataset.
   • Incremental Refresh: Efficient for large datasets, loads only new/changed data.

3. QuickSight does not offer a perpetual free edition. However, a 30-day free trial is available with up to 4 Author users, allowing you to evaluate the platform’s capabilities.

   • QuickSight is a fully serverless service that auto-scales automatically. There is no hard cap on concurrent viewers. AWS has supported deployments serving hundreds of thousands of concurrent readers. For large-scale deployments, capacity pricing is recommended.
