I understand the Amazon Q can give details based on the dataset (given in topic). I want to know if I can enable the Amazon Q where it provides specific insights pertaining to graph/chart within the dashboard. Or is there a way the prompt can limit the results to Graph/chart specific data instead on analysis whole dataset?
Hello @Mallikarjun.d , welcome to the QuickSight community!
If you only want users to ask questions about the data pertaining to a single visual you could use the refinement process in Q Topics to remove all unneeded dataset fields.
What is the final outcome that you want? Are you embedding and want the Q experience per visual or just using the QuickSight console and want the Q topic to respond to that visual only?
The dashboards which we are building will be used by the end user, we want to provide the capability of using Amazon Q to the end user (I am not sure how/if this works). Assuming this can be given, I was thinking the Q has the capability to provide insight pertaining to the individual visual/graph/chart? Meaning keeping it light and restricting the analysis related to that particular visual/graph/chart.
Hey @Mallikarjun.d
Currently Q Topics don’t have the ability to target a specific chart for example, opening specifically on the visual via the console. That being said, you can create multiple topics from a single dataset so theoretically in an embedded environment you could create a system where the user selects the visual and calls up a topic that is refined to that specific visual.
Thank you so much @duncan
