Can we use quicksight with only readers?
So lets say we have created quicksight account and created all the dashboards we wanted then switched from author to reader to save costs? (No authors at all)
Will it work?

From my understanding, to have an active account, you will need at least one active admin user that handles the account; which will not be able to be switched to reader.
Quick Sight admin is required for Subscribing to Quick Sight account [1]. Only an Admin user can perform administrative tasks [2] in Quick Sight. Therefore while it is possible to delete existing admin users, it is important to have at-least 1 admin user to perform administrative tasks in Quick Sight as a best practice.
