Changing the IdentityType of QuickSight subscription

Hello, Is it possible to change the users IdenityType from IAM to IAM federated identities and QuickSight? The IdentityType was chosen when we initially subscribe for QuickSight. I don’t find any options to change this in the manage quicksight console. Please let me know where and how to change the IdentifyType.

To my understanding, this option is not available to be changed once you’ve created your account. Here’s a link with some additional information.

Additionally, you could try creating a support ticket to see if the AWS support team can help switch but it may require the creation of a new account.

It is unfortunate that we can’t change the authentication method once we choose during the subscription.
Sure, will open a ticket with the support team and see if we get any support on switching the authentication method as we don’t want to loose all the stuffs that we worked on the current subscription.
