Hello hello! facing an issue in one of the QS analyses - deleted a few test fields and removed comments/commented code from the calculated fields to free up space so that it gets below the hard limit for the number of characters.
To test changes I wanted to make, I created a test field with just ‘1’ as the value and no actual calculations. The field was created just fine, but now when I want to make changes to this field or even delete it, running into the character limit error again. No clue why that is happening, especially even when I am just trying to remove the field. Any insights here will be helpful. TIA!
Review your analysis for any visuals, parameters, or other calculated fields that might reference the test field. Remove or update these references before attempting to delete the field.
Temporarily remove other calculated fields or visuals that are not essential. This can help reduce the overall character count and allow you to delete or modify the test field.
Try refreshing the analysis or clearing the cache and cookies, as they could be causing the issue.
It appears that a similar question was addressed sometime back.
One of the suggestions that was provided was to possibly move some of your calculated fields to the dataset layer. See if there is a possibility to move some of your calculated fields to dataset.
I am not sure why you are getting the error when trying to remove a calculated field. You could try @Xclipse 's suggestion to removing the cache and see if that resolves, otherwise you may have to approach AWS resources for help.
No, the test fields did not have any references. Removing or editing any of the calculated fields was giving me this error. Will try the cache thing. Thanks!
