I’ve created QuickSight Power Tools, a Chrome extension that provides enhancements for calculated fields, dependencies, and change management. This open-source tool makes it easier to manage and export calculated fields, visualize the dependency chain, and track changes to datasets and dashboards.
Some key features include:
- Exporting all calculated fields to a .csv file
- Quick links to the public doc for functions
- Viewing dependency chains between calculated fields to understand relationships
- Tracking change history for datasets, data sources, and dashboards
