Is there a way to update Column Description of datasets in Quicksight using API or bulk update from source file (e.g., excel or csv)

Hello Pbneelqs,

I am not aware and I don’t think such API is available to change the Column description. you may need to use QuickSight console and edit the data set to manually add the description to the required fields/columns.
