I’m trying to integrate confluence wiki and set up the live Confluence knowledge base to replace the static PDFs. But it’s throwing “access denied” when I tried to log in
Hi @perusrip,
Welcome to the Quick Community! Just to confirm, are you having issues setting up the integration with your Atlassian Confluence credentials? If so, I would recommend looking into this documentation containing all of the respective steps. If that is not the case or it is still not working for you, please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to see if there is a way I can assist further!
Thank you!
Hi @WLS-Luis,
Thanks for the response ! I’m from Amazon kindle team and have access to confluence team wikis. But If I try to login via quick suite integration , it’s not taking to SSO page Asking to create a new account when tried to login with amazon credential. I can see other folks also encountering the same issue.
please free to reach me over slack @perusrip for more details.
Hi @perusrip ,
Thanks for reaching out! Can you let us know which Quick account you are using? Is it your own Isengard account?
Unfortunately Quick’s web crawler doesn’t support authentication mechanism for internal wikis, one workaround is to add tabs to a Space in browser extension like this and chat:
Hi @VincentWu,
I tried to add the page to confluence, but showing “Failed”. I tried to create a space and adding to it.
Please find the below attached screenshot for ref.
Page tried to add: Home Realm Discovery
Unfortunately this workaround doesn’t support live data indexing. Live update require API access internal wiki, which requires organizational admin access and some extra configuration to setup RestAPI action integration.
@VincentWu Could you please share how I can add a wiki? Couldn’t find how to add tabs to a Space.
@VincentWu Can please share me documentation or step by step procedure for live updates of internal wiki
Hi @perusrip,
Just checking back in here since there has not been a response in a thread in a while. Were you able to find a workaround yourself in the meantime or are you still facing the same issue? Any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.
Also @VincentWu, wanted to check if you saw perusip and skjung’s messages regarding the live update procedure.
Thank you!
Hi @WLS-Luis , unfortunately there’s no live update capability to save web pages to a Space, it has to be manual for now.
Hi @VincentWu,
Thanks so much for confirming this!
Hello @perusrip, since we haven’t received any further updates from you, I’ll treat this inquiry as complete for now. If you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new post in the community and link this discussion for context.
