How do I generate a link to a specific visual in the dashboard. For example, I have a chart and a detailed table in the same dashboard but on separate sheets. I want to create a hyperlink in the description of the chart that will be redirected to the detailed table in the same dashboard.

With the Chart selected, you would add a navigation action. You can use Select Method or Menu Selection. This will navigate you to the other sheet with the detail table.

How can I generate this link?

In my opinion the best approach would still be to create an action which navigates to your desired sheet. However you could add link in the subtitle of the chart. Click on the desired chart. click properties. then edit title or subtitle with you desired link. Just note that analyses link is different than dashboard link. so you would have to take note of the dashboard link. This is not a perfect solutions as links could change during the publishing of a new version of the dashboard.
