Custom aggregated fields as dimensions

Hi, I’m writing in addition to this archived topic https://community.amazonquicksight.com/t/custom-aggregated-fields-as-dimesions/48960/5?u=luca1.
I tried to calculate ABC classes in custom SQL and I actually manage to get the data shown in a HeatMap.

The problem is that ABC classes are static.
In my dashboard I have several controls that filters data and I would like my ABC classes to be calculated according to the filters I set.

This is an example. Suppose that I want to calculate ABC classes for stocks in different depots.
I can set a filter to choose the depot I want to analyze.
ABC classes should be recalculated according to the data of the depot I picked. I don’t think I can do this via a static dataset based on custom SQL.

Do you have any idea about how to get this?
Please refer to the link above for detailed explanation of my goal.

Thanks

Hi @LUCA1,

When you were trying to build out the calculated field on the analysis level and were receiving the custom aggregations error, what was the calculated field you were using?

If you have a number of different controls that filter down your visualization, this may be a lot easier to assist further if you can upload a copy of your analysis with anonymized data to Quick Sight Arena; that way we can test out various options to see what may work in this case.
