Is it possible to filter another table in a dashboard using the information(column) in another table (i.e via using a calculated field ) without having to alter the dataset query .
Hi @Rora1
could you give us some more details or example what you want to achieve?

yes @duncan I have a dashboard that has two tables each having its on queries .Example Table A (With column apple, banana. oranges, fruit ) the second Table has ( pear, peaches ,prune) I want to also have fruit column added to the second table too.Can i do this without having to change the query and instead use a calculated field or any other option available ?
Hi @Rora1
without editing the query I guess only with a calculated field for the fruit column. If both tables have a field with common values you can create a parameter and filter.
