Dataset Parameter for boolean data type

Hi Team,

We are planning to migrate from tableau to QS, in tableau we have create parameter for boolean data type, how to handle this in quicksight as while creating parametet i can see option for string, interger,number & datetime. Quick help will be appreciated.

Hi @anshul1243

Your dataset in QuickSight would have to map your boolean data type as Integer. The parameter therefore will be an Integer (0 or 1); but if you prefer a user friendly value you may need to create a calculated field in your dataset to translate the 0 and 1 to an appropriate textual value and use that field for your parameter.
