I want to create a datetime parameter that has no default value.
What I want to achive is:
I have a table that shows all logfiles from a unique entity. I want to show the dashboard user all the logfiles but give him the possibility to filter by a certain timestamp if he wants.
Hi @Markus,
Datetime parameters do not allow you to set a blank default value; additionally, if you did leave it blank, it would not populate your table as it would not be defining any data.
To make your scenario work, I would suggest creating two datetime parameters, one for start and end. Set the start default back to a date that precedes your data. Then your end parameter set to ‘Today’. That will allow your visual to start by showing all results and then allowing you to filter down to within the dates set.
