Derived output schema is no longer compatible with the expected output_columns

Hello,

What is this?
I had a parent and a child dataset.

The parent dataset is linked with a left join to another dataset.
I deleted this last dataset because I did not needed anymore and then this thing started to happen and refresh failing.

The dataset that I deleted had only two columns that I have excluded them. Also these two columns do not appear in any calculated fields.
Why I get this error?
How I can delete this dataset not needed anymore?

Derived output schema is no longer compatible with the expected output columns. This is expected only during dataset refresh, after parent dataset schema is updated to no longer be able to produce the expected output columns in a child dataset. Column with id 2f64ccfc-8f9e-3af1-b4ff-c2fc4f8e8c4f-96a61ea8-68c8-3610-ade0-2e7c28ec725a-6bccc909-641f-42ab-8263-0504b439fa3d.proforma_id no longer exists. Available columns are {583c7c49-bd4f-4574-8217-

Hi @pantelis,

So is the dataset that you deleted the one that was joined originally with the parent dataset?
And you’re saying that now the child dataset built off the original joined dataset is broken?

Are any/all of these datasets in Direct Query or SPICE?

To my understanding, while the fields may not be utilized in calculated fields or anywhere else in your analysis; the initial schema that the child dataset was built on included those fields. Therefore when the refresh attempts to run, the child dataset is expecting the original output schema. As it no longer matches, you receive this error.

Hi @pantelis,

Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. Were you able to see Brett’s reply and/or find a solution yourself in the meantime? If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, please feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.

Thanks!
