“I’m building a financial reporting dashboard in Amazon QuickSight. What’s the best way to visualize revenue, expenses, and profit? Should I use bar charts, line graphs, or a combination? Are there any specific QuickSight features or best practices I should follow to make the dashboard more insightful and user-friendly?”
Hi @Lee56 !
It depends, if you want to see trending over time, I’d go with a line graph. Maybe a stacked bar chart comparing revenue vs expenses as well. Did you check the Demo Central? It has some really nice examples for you to get inspiration to fit your dataset.
This is one example is related to a financial report: https://democentral.learnquicksight.online/#Dashboard-AskQ-Q-Financial-Services-Card-Payments
