i am trying to build a dashboard which has StartDate and EndDate control/parameter where user can pick the dates where he wants to see data in between. in addition to it, i am also thinking to provide a radio button to let the user select yesterday or previous month or previous year buttons to see data accordingly. i would like to know if QuickSight has a radio button option available if not any ideas how this can be achieved please. You can achieve this through the use of parameters or just setting up a control directly from a filter as long as you have a proper date field in your dataset. If you setup a filter for a field that’s a data type, you’ll receive the following options where you can choose a start and end time option, which will pull data in between those dates, or you can setup as a ‘relative date’ option which allows you to choose the time period and then set to current x or previous x:
Additionally, if you’d like to use parameters, you can build two datetime parameters, one for start date and one for end date and then select the ‘use parameters’ option in the ‘date and time range’ filtering option.
