Hi everyone & happy Monday,
I am reaching out to request enablement of an IAM Identity Center account so I can manage groups (create groups, add/remove users).
Why: I manage a QuickSight chat agent that needs to be shared with ~400 users. QuickSight has a 100-principal sharing limit, and the workaround is to create a group in IAM Identity Center, add users to it, and share the agent with the group. The previous owner of this process had IAM Identity Center access.
What I need:
- IAM Identity Center access to create and manage groups (add/remove members)
My details:
-
Alias/username:
-
QuickSight account:
Sister ticket: Bot user limit
Thank you so much in advance!
Hi @baarseni and welcome to the community!
As this a public forum, we do not have access to anyone’s account nor have the authority to give IAM Identity Center access. I would recommend reaching out internally to your AWS account administrator or IT team.
Hope you get it sorted!
Hi @baarseni,
Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I wanted to see if the guidance shared earlier helped resolve your question, or if you found a solution in the meantime.
If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.
Thank you.
