Error during new user response to invite

A new user gets the following error when responding to invite email:

Its not you, its us.

We couldn’t complete your request
right now. Please try again later.

( This is not a good experience for non technical users)

Are you running into the same issue described in this post? If so, it sounds like you may be able to resolve this error by syncing your system time settings as described here.
