Extraction of Analysis definition

I am currently part of a ETL and dashboarding project.

I want to migrate everything present in the Quicksight into Iaac. So is there a easier way that I can get the analysis definition or create a template out of it with all the visuals, calculated fields with it?

Please advise.

@Landerson I don’t think QuickSight has a template that then can be used for other BI tools.

Got it, thanks for the reply… I was able to resolve that issue… but when I try to deploy my Analysis through Cloudformation, but I am getting and error stating:

Resource of type 'AWS::QuickSight::Analysis' with identifier 'dev-Analysis' was not found.

But here I’m trying to create one, I tried changing the analysis id, logical id or the names of the analysis as well

Is there any solution for the same?

Hi @Landerson, It sounds like the analysis definition that you are using in your cloudformation template may have some issue.
To debug this further I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!”
