Fail to Scan File Error

I am unable to update my file with a new version.
My file contains 140 rows and <60 columns
I receive a “Failed to Scan File” error when attempting to update.
A also attempted to save the file as a new data set and received the same error message.
I have updated this file many, many times with no issue until today.

Welcome to the Quick Sight community.

As you mentioned that this file has been uploaded to create Quick Sight dataset in the past. What is the change in new version? What is file format xls, csv, json? Are you able to open it in any other text editor?

I suspect some datatype mismatch, invalid characters in the file causing issue for parsing the file. Please refer this link for common errors in data ingestion.

Please validate data field format for the file and let us know.

A new row of information was added to the sheet. However, even when removing this row, the error remained.

I was able to locate the Row which is causing the issue.
There was an update to the row, I am in the process of figuring out what cell is incorrect.
I identified the erroneous cell and rectified the issue.
Thank you for your assistance and suggestion.
