Formatting background of alternate rows

Hi
I’ve got a pivot table and I need to demark each week row e.g. white background for week 1, grey for week 2, white for week 3. I can affect the backgrounds with Conditional Formatting on the Value columns but I can’t find a way to do it for the Row columns: is it possible and if so, how? Ideally the colour would span the Row details similar to the below mock up.

For pivot tables, the conditional formatting selection is limited to the measures that are in the Values field well.
