is the dashboard within your account?
You can only gain access by asking the owner to grant you access. :wink:

How do you figure out who made the dashboard?

On the Quick Sight (in web) itself, I honestly don’t know either. You can see only “other”.
You could find it out via the API if you have the permission.

As an admin you could see who owns the dashboards. Is this what you are looking for ?
In the screenshot it’s shown as ‘me’ (Owner) since i am the admin and i published the dashboards.
