This question hunts me for a long time.
I have seen similar discussions here, here and here, but I did not find straight answer.
Is there any opportunity to read values from ‘Select all’ parameter value?
I have created test analysis here.
I have 2 datasets, connected with id (I cannot JOIN them).
The point is when I filter the first dataset with 'other_id' I can use control filter to find all the relevant id values in second dataset.
It looks like your Arena link is to the overall Arena’s ‘Get Started’ page instead of to your actual analysis, please reshare the link; there’s a walkthrough on how to share in the below link:
In regards to your scenario though, if you’re able to share the Analysis again, I can test out a couple different options but Quick Sight really limits how much two datasets can interact with each other if not joined, so I don’t believe that this will currently be possible.
Following up here as it’s been awhile since last communication took place on this thread; did you have any additional questions regarding your initial post or were you able to find a work around in the interim?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
Since we have not heard back, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic. However, if you have any additional questions regarding your initial post, feel free to create a new post in the community and include the correct link to your Arena view so that we can assist further!
