Group by from filter is not working for relative dates

I have dataset with timestamp (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS) and created a line plot as shown below. In the controls sections it can be seen that I am using last12 weeks, but the graph is shown with day by day values instead of week by week data. How can I update the graph between day, week, month, year based on the selection from controls section selection.

You need to create a field after converting timestamp to integer and use it for the sorting.
This will work for your.

What you see on your x-axis is determined by the date aggregation in your visual. In the example below, the control shows years but the data is aggregated at the month level. The periods that you use for aggregating and for filtering are independent.
