Horizontal bar char is not supporting same column to be used for axis and group

Hi everyone,

I created a visualization that displays points by each purse using a horizontal bar chart.

I encountered an issue when adding the purse name column to the axis and the group/colour section. To solve this, I created a calculated field using the same column, which worked.

It would be better if the tool allowed us to use the same column in both places, as it would eliminate the need to create an extra column to fix this issue.

If anyone has a better solution for this, please let me know.

I have also recommended to the Quicksight team to fix this issue.

I believe the route you took to create an extra calculated field is the best route to take for this instance.
