Hi all,
I am the admin account of Quicksight. I have created 2 users in AWS console (IAM users) and then I registered them as Authors. I now want to access one of these new accounts, create an analysis and share it with the other author user under this namespace. I try to click “Share analysis” but no user appears. How can I do that?

Hi @Fotis_flex,
You need to type the username or part of it to see the values in the list below the share.
Please note that you can only share the analysis with users in the same namespace.

Thanks for reporting this issue.
The workaround you can use is to search by the IAM user’s email.
I have created an internal ticket for dev team to look into this.
If you want to keep track of status, I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support. Therein, reference the above ticket and add additional details as applicable to you. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
