Share analysis is not working for QS analyis

When I try to add a new user in share analysis, the share button is not working. Hence not able to add new user to the analysis.

when you say not working what exactly meant by that? User cannot be found ? or post share Analysis is not shown for the user ?

  1. user needs to be in QuickSight ?
  2. you may need to type and enter to see the user (Group or email) to be visible in text area provided they exist in the QS account.

As shows in image above, I am able to find user and add in the list, but when I click “Share” button, nothing happens and the analysis is not shared.

Thank you for sharing the details. The user/Author whom you have shared the analysis cannot see ? could you possibly share his/her view screen layout as well ?

If its still not working. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where suppprt engineer can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case . If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
