How can I undo changes or rollback to the previous dashboard published?

I have made many changes on my analysis and published, but It does not ok, so I need to rollback to previous version of dashboard and its analysis.

How can I undo changes to the previous dashboard published? Is it possible?

Hi @annettfl

Sorry, unfortunately there’s currently no way to do that. I believe there is NO version control is available in QuickSight.

Here are some recommendations:

Always duplicate your analysis and dashboard before making major changes.
You can publish the duplicated analysis/dashboard if something goes wrong with the original.

Hi @annettfl,
One additional note to add for this as I saw you were talking about changing the published version.
When you access your dashboard, in the top right, you should have an option for ‘version history’ (pictured below). You can revert your published version back to prior versions. This won’t make changes to the analysis though so it would be more of a temporary solution while you fix the analysis.

Are you using QuickSight or QuickSight Q? I don’t see this option in the QuickSight dashboard.

Hi @annettfl ,

Since you are using Amazon Q, you have the option for versioning. However, in Amazon QuickSight, there is no option for versioning.

The User Interface is for Amazon Q.
