Hello Quicksight team,
So I made sme changes in the dataset and analysis without taking a backup of the copies. I see some issue in dahsboard and no way with error I cna fix the issue. Does aws help you to recover the quick sight changes as of yesterday? Like a point in time recovery.
Unfortunately, I do not see such an option for the Analysis. There is some feature released to revert dashboard to previous version; but that is available if you have subscribed to Amazon Q. For now you may need to do some work to get your analysis to the older version.
I generally do the following when I work on changes to dashboards.
I duplicate my analysis analysis and add a suffix " - Draft" to it
After making the changes I publish this analysis as a dashboard with " - Draft" suffix.
Once it goes through review and passed; I replace the original dashboard.
I then deleted the older analysis and remove the " - Draft" suffix from the analysis; making it the latest version
