Hi all,
How can you make a datetime x-axis dynamic? I have a calculated field displayed that only looks at the last 12 months from the current time, so it’s a moving calculation. I want the datetime axis to reflect this moving timeline so it doesn’t have a long, trailing 0 flat line behind.
You can use a relative filter to limit the data in your visual to the last 12 months. This will make the zero lines disappear and make your x-axis dynamic.
Best regards,
Nico

Thank you Nico! One additional piece of context I forgot to mention was that I have a sheet-wide control for the date. I’m assuming that the control doesn’t work if I apply the individual filter just for the visualization (and vice versa)? Thank you for explaining.
The sheet-wide control filter for the date and from the selected date you want to see the last 12 month in one visual. Do I get you right?
If yes, you can use a relative filter, showing last 12 month and set the 12 month relative to your parameter date. Your sheet-wide control needs to be a parameter for this.
