I use parameter to control one of my filters and added the filter as a drop down select list to the sheet. However the filter drop down list does not automatically update with the correct available values according to the parameter value. I need to manually click on the “refresh” for the filter.
Is there’s a way to auto-refresh the filter?

If the control is tied to a column in SPICE dataset, its values should be refreshed on each ingestion. If it’s a direct query dataset, we are currently working on adding a TTL to these columns such that they are refreshed more regularly.

Hi, Even now the same issue is there filter is not getting updated when data is loaded in the dataset automatically and also am using Direct Query method, the TTL issue is resolved in the quicksight or it is still pending, please let me know if there is any solution to fix this

I’m facing a similar issue, dropdown options were quite old leading to misinterpretation of data. Even on refreshing the dashboard it’s not fixed, the specific dropdown needs to be refreshed which is particularly weird behaviour.
Additionally is there anyway to disable this caching of options (no TTL)?
