My client has the following requirement:
They need a Show/Hide button at the bottom of a KPI card.
If they choose Show, a KPI‑related bar chart or text table should appear at the bottom of the dashboard.
If they choose Hide, the bottom section should display an empty area.
I’m new to QuickSight, and although I can build simple visualizations, this requirement is quite complicated for me. Could you please help me? please see the screen shot below for your reference.
This very doable and can easily be done in Quick Sight. Here is a previous community post that walks you through how to do the hide/show logic (Hiding visual until filter is applied - Q&A - Amazon Quick Community). One thing to note that I do not think was stated in the post is that you can control the parameter via a control. So you can create a control and have the control options be either ‘show’ or ‘hide’ and from there you will set your hide/show logic to match accordingly.
Let me know if you have any further questions or want me to elaborate further on any step!
