How to Repeat Row Labels in a PivotTable

Is it possible to have the pivot table’s row label repeated to avoid large empty space (audience have to scroll down to see the label/name

The method in “https://community.amazonquicksight.com/t/how-to-repeat-row-labels-in-a-pivot-table/628” is not very easy to follow, any one could help?

After repeating the row label, is there any method to add subtotal under the repeated rows?

Thanks.

Hi @qihul and welcome to the Quick Suite Community!

To my understanding, I have not seen a feature get implemented that allows you to repeat the row labels. There only available pivot formatting options are listed under this section below, it allows you to duplicate your column value down each row but no option for your other row fields:

The work around provided in the linked topic above is the best option to achieve (although it unfortunately requires a number of steps and leads to new limitations, like not being able to add subtotal).

I’ll mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the AWS support team!
