IP address is being redacted

I can see that if IP address is being redacted in the response in Quick sight which does not use to happen before.

Its confusing as we want to have correct answer in the response.

  • Ensure your QuickSight user has appropriate access level (Author/Admin vs Reader)

Review Dataset Field Settings:

  • Go to dataset → Edit dataset
  • Check if IP address fields have any special security settings
  • Verify field data types are correct

Check Source Query:

  • If using custom SQL, ensure the query doesn’t have masking functions
  • Verify database views aren’t applying redaction

Contact Administrator:

  • If you need access to IP addresses, request permission changes from your QuickSight admin
