We are using Enterprise edition of Amazon QuickSight in the eu-west-1 region.
Our goal is to embed an Analysis (authoring experience) inside our application using the GenerateEmbedUrlForRegisteredUser API, but without embedding the full QuickSightConsole (i.e., without the top navigation bar and logo that allows users to navigate to the QuickSight home page).
However, The current botocore service model does not include "Analysis" under ExperienceConfiguration
We would like clarification on the following:
Is standalone Analysis embedding (authoring experience) officially supported?
If yes, is it a feature flag or account-level enablement?
Our use case requires allowing users to edit visuals in an embedded experience, but without exposing the full QuickSight console navigation.
Hello @richa.jha, currently there is not a feature available for analysis embedding without including the console. The best way to manage this will be to embed the console with very specific user permissions regarding the assets/features you want them to access. You can make it so they are unable to edit datasets or add data sources and provision the specific analyses that you want them to be able to access.
Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I wanted to see if the guidance shared earlier helped resolve your question, or if you found a solution in the meantime.
