I have a date filter set to Rolling:Today but it doesn’t seem to automatically update when I open the dashboard on a new day, it’s still stuck on the date that I last opened the dashboard. So if I open the dashboard tomorrow (2025-11-06), I want the filter pre-populated and set to 2025-11-06, not today.
Is there anything else that needs to be configured or setup to have the date filter automatically change?
Hello @maat, I am curious how you are setting this up. It sounds like this problem is likely a result of how the dashboard is caching your previous visit. Are you currently setting up the rolling dates directly in a filter, or are you using parameterized filters?
I set up a quick dashboard in Arena that we can use to test out possible solutions for the problem. My initial thought would be to use default values for a StartDate and EndDate parameter, and make sure those are going to update depending on the current date.
Alternatively, we may be able to do something with a calculated field. I think this initial method would be preferred if it works as expected. Let me know if you have any questions!
Figured it out - classic user error issue -_-
Had rolling date setup on all but one sheet, so that’s why it seemed like it was only partially working at times.
