🚀 It's Our Birthday!

Happy birthday QuickSight Community! We are celebrating 1 year since the launch of our new Community! :rocket: Since last year’s announcement, we are seeing hundreds of thousands of visits a month! Answers to thousands of searchable questions have been posted, and our Learning Series is now running every week. An events calendar has been added, and hundreds of learning resources have been posted (how to videos and articles, getting started guides, blogs, and what’s new posts). A Community Manager has been brought on board, and our Solutions Architects, Experts and AWS partner, West Loop, are posting robust answers in the Q&A!

Thank you for being the Community of Amazon QuickSight!
We can’t wait to see what the next year has in store! :tada:

@kmandia, Congratulations on the 1yr Anniversary for QuickSight Community

Happy Birthday!

Here’s what I love about QuickSight:

  • Cross-filtering Visualizations via Actions and specifying one or more Visualizations

  • Applied Filtering

  • Parameters for Ad-hoc Filtering

  • Row-Level Security for restricting data per logged-in User (username)

So much lucky to part of QuickSight Community really it was a wonderful experience for me. Last year April I joined the QuickSight community at that time less number of member active on the community. For a single Query solved they have taken 3-4 days now everything got changed totally we all feel like a team member now the every doubt got cleared as soon as possible.
A great year completed a great year coming for QuickSight Coomunity.

Happy birthday. My company QSR Automations is really excited to be using QuickSight. Right now we are using it for internal customers. But have plans to roll it out to external ones as well.

Congratulations on 1 year anniversary! Being a new user of QuickSight, this community is my first stop to find answers. One of the suggestions I have is ability to schedule email reports to custom users – example on-call. Another could be to send to posix group who has dashboard access instead of individual users. Thank you for all the support! :rocket:

As far as suggestions goes. Some more date manipulation functions would be good. Also a time variable type would be nice too.

Happy birthday QS Community! One of my favorite things about QuickSight is scheduling: it is so easy for me to schedule data refreshes, and it’s also a snap to schedule report emails to the various departments in our company. Something I wish for the future is increased detail over what we can control for formatting in visualizations, especially pivot charts: I’m talking editing column colors (without needing conditional formatting) and better control over what the Total and Subtotal fields look like. Keep up the great work!

Something else that would be nice is the ability to export all the cards, charts, etc. from an interactive analysis to one PDF, one ( or more ) CSV files, etc.

Thanks @Chadwick_L_Morris! Wonderful! We have some video instructions posted in our QuickSight Community Learning Center, including our weekly Learning Series webinar workshop videos and various How To videos.

Thanks! Added a feature-request tag so that this is on our radar.
