We are getting an error message when trying to join two datasets. Both datasets are in Direct Query mode. A snapshot is given below for your reference. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When you are joining cross data sources, ensure that the columns used for the join have matching data types across both datasets.

It appears that you are using Direct Query. You should switch to SPICE to enable cross joins.
Cross-source datasets must use SPICE.
Cross-source datasets don’t support geographical data in any form.
