When I try to combine multiple data sets, I understand that I can normally select items and combine them, but as shown in the screenshot, the message “A problem has occurred” is displayed and I cannot make a selection.
What do you think is the cause?
Hi @nakashima
The information you have shared is not enough to make a comment.
Have you clicked on the Exclamation Icon to see if that provides any insights into the error?
Can you share details of the two datasets (are they direct query or SPICE etc)?
Regards,
Giri
Sorry, I didn’t provide enough information.
When I click on the exclamation point icon, nothing happens.
When I hover over it, it just says “A problem has occurred.”
The two datasets are linked in query mode directly from Snowflake.
Regards,
Naka
Hi @nakashima
When you join across sources, the result must be a SPICE dataset. Here are links to the QuickSight join documentation and to a blog post about joining data across sources.
