Hi @Rajeshkommi,
Thank you for the detailed breakdown of the scenario! So is your question about how this overall setup can be achieved or is there an aspect of this functionality that you’re having trouble with?
If you’re trying to assign multiple field values to filter down the second sheet/table, I would suggest using a Navigation Action as that allows you to assign parameter values upon the click action. You can setup parameters for the fields that will help filter the second table.
Thanks for your response. Here while I am creating navigation action and adding the parameters it will apply based on the value present in the first table, but my scenario is the value in the first table what we have selected for navigation is to match with the total count of the Agentcomm to the respective policies in the second tab.
In the tab2/visual having the records of series wise policies and agent commission (1st yr + 2nd Yr), Agentcomm is separated by duration field ( 1 for 1st year & 2 for 2nd year comm).
Here me task is if I click on value(20) in the tab1 and it will navigate to tab2/visual and filters the values related to the series 4 and in the 1st Yr comm of the Agentcomm (total count of this Agentcomm should match with value 20).(in the backend we need to apply duration filter 1 for 1st year Agentcomm in the tab2)
if I click on value(4.5) in the tab1 and it will navigate to tab2/visual and filters the values related to the series 4 and in the 2nd Yr comm of the Agentcomm (total count of this Agentcomm should match with value 4.5).((in the backend we need to apply duration filter 2 for 2nd year Agentcomm in the tab2)
if I click on value(4.3) in the tab1 and it will navigate to tab2/visual and filters the values related to the series f and in the 2nd Yr comm of the Agentcomm (total count of this Agentcomm should match with value 4.3).
Thank you for the additional explanation. Some scenarios are difficult without understanding how the dataset is designed and fields being utilized.
So in visual 1, are ‘1st year’ and ‘2nd year’ using the same ‘AgentComm’ field but applying logic so that it only relates to 1st year or 2nd year? Is there another field that contains the 1 or 2 you’re using to filter it?
This may be easier to assist further if you’re able to upload an anonymized copy of your dataset to Arena View; that way I can see a bit more clearly how everything is currently put together.
Just checking in here since this thread hasn’t received a reply in a while? Were you able to see Brett’s recent post in regard to creating an Arena view and/or find a solution yourself in the meantime? Please help the community by providing an update within the next 3 business days!
Since we haven’t received any further updates from you, I’ll treat this inquiry as complete for now. If you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new post in the community and link this discussion for context.
