Not able to integrate amazonQ with QuickSight to build analysis ,create calculated filed and make stories easily

I’m trying to integrate Amazon Q with my QuickSight account. However, I don’t see the option to enable Amazon Q in the Topics section of QuickSight, which is shown in various YouTube tutorials. While these tutorials demonstrate how to use Amazon Q once it’s integrated, none of them explain the actual setup process. Could you please guide me through the steps to enable and configure Amazon Q in QuickSight?

Hello Giri,

First you need to make sure you have Amazon Q subscription enabled in your QuickSight Account by either having one of the user role as Pro or by creating a topic on the topic of data set.

Q then lets you generate Executive summaries from dashboards and Build & Edit visuals , Create calculations , Create stories & Analyze scenarios with natural language inputs.
Author Pro and Admin Pro users get all of these capabilities.

Reader Pro users can generate Executive summaries , Create stories and Analyze scenario

To upgrade a user to a Pro role
  1. Open the QuickSight console.
  2. Choose the user icon at the top right, and then choose Manage QuickSight.
  3. Choose Manage users to open the Manage Users page.
  4. To change the role of an existing user, locate that user on the Manage Users table and choose the role that you want to grant them from the Role dropdown. The image below shows the Manage users table with the Role dropdown opened.

i followed this steps , but still i am not able to see the amazon Q icon while creating analysis .
