Not getting accurate output in Quicksight while multiplying 2 columns

I created 1 calculated field:

Rate: 0.0015*0.124488932

and in O/p , I am expecting 0.00018673 [ this is what we get in excel] ; however, in QS, I am getting output as 0.0002000 which is not desirable.

Please let me know how to fix it?

I think this problem is related to what has been discussed here:

Hi @MYNKJAIN,

Thanks for posting your question, as per your article link, SPICE datasets do now support floating points numbers with up to 15 digits to the right of the decimal point.

So for example, if the SPICE dataset contains a measure field of type Decimal->Float

Then when you use that field in analyses and calculations the precision is maintained, e.g. if “Calc - multiply” is
0.0015*{decimal}
Then, you can build a visual as follows:

Let me know if this helps and please mark my reply “Solution” if so.

Many Thanks,
Andrew
