One drive sync did not work even though showing connected in status

Issue: OneDrive connector shows “Connected” (22 tools) but all API calls return ResourceNotFound: User not found. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. User can access OneDrive files normally via browser at onedrive.com.

Error: {"error":{"code":"ResourceNotFound","message":"User not found"}}

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @sudsark and welcome to the community!

This is an interesting case you found. Some things I would try are, fully disconnecting the OneDrive connector (Settings > Connectors > OneDrive > Disconnect), not just reinstall. Then reconnect and re-authenticate from scratch. If that does not work, I would check with your IT admin whether anything changed with your account recently (UPN change, license reassignment, tenant migration). If none of that resolves it, I’d recommend opening a support ticket (Case management - AWS Support) with the exact error message and steps you’ve already tried.

Hope this helps and feel free to keep us updated!

Hi There thanks for the help, just to let you aware I do not see “disconnect” option in the setting of Quick desktop at all , I only see “Manage Permission” and “Uninstall” as options. I have tried uninstall and install back several times, I tried logout of onedrive and log back butt hat did not help either. As a next step I am going to check my Support Admin if they can found anything on my OneDrive account. If not , I will open support case as you mentioned.

Hi @sudsark,

Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I wanted to see if the guidance shared earlier helped resolve your question, or if you found a solution in the meantime. Moreover, if you submitted a support ticket and it uncovered any findings, please feel free to share them!

If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.

Thank you.

Unfortunately not working my side, infact you also can try your side, try to access the onedrive from your quick desktop, even though the status showing connected with green tick mark in the setting page but actually when i run action for one-drive its failing . I checked couple of my colleagues too and its failing for them either.

Hi @sudsark,

Thanks for the update. The fact that your colleagues are seeing the same error suggests it’s something at the org or tenant level rather than your individual account. Did you end up checking with your admin as you mentioned earlier? If so, I’d be curious what they found. If not, I’d recommend looping them in. If the admin route doesn’t uncover anything, opening a support case with the error and the detail that it’s affecting multiple users would be the next step since this is a public facing community and we don’t have access to assets within individual’s accounts.
